FavDishes II: Frankfurts Gruene Sosse (GreenSauce)Green souces have already existed in France and Italy long before the recipe was either brought to Frankfurt by French or by Italian immigrants. It spread not all over Germany and exists only in the Hessian region. The recipe of Frankfurt's Green Souce is differently from the other Hessian green sauces. The original ingredients are a secret and even the Frankfurters have different ways to prepare it. Nevertheless, it is a herb sauce which can be eaten to beef, Schnitzel, fish - but traditionally in Frankfurt, the original Frankfotter Grie Sos, is served with boiled potatoes and halved hard-boiled eggs.

Ingredients:
In Germany you can buy Green Sauce packages or you can cultivate your own herbs. Usually you have to buy
1 package Frankfurter Grüne Sosse. This is a recipe for three to four persons.
If you cultivate your own herbs, you should use in any case the necessary seven herbs that are a must in Frankfurt's Green Sauce:
- Borage
- Chervil
- Garden Cress
- Parsley
- Sala

Theme
You are to draw our mascot, Hanabi, in a spring or summer theme. If she is at the beach or something, you may change her outfit if it doesn't quite fit the scenario. However you must make sure you can still tell it's her.

2. No tracing, using bases or premade linearts, etc.
3. All submissions must follow the group's rules, which you can find on our front page.
4. You can submit a maximum of 2 entries, but can only win once.
